Diaspora: The dispersion of any people from their homeland.
I recently picked up a book called All City Writers. I’ve been fascinated by graffiti culture for a few years now and when I heard of this book coming out I had to pick it up. It’s 400+ pages of well researched graffiti history starting from the early tags by Cornbread in Philly, to the rise of graffiti in New-York and about how it spread to Europe. What’s special about this book is that it is laid out like a newspaper. It’s a must have for any writer or anyone wanting to know a little more about graffiti. I’m going spend the holidays going through it and brushing up on my graffiti history.
